China Industrial Profits Fall Further In November

Profits earned by Chinese industrial enterprises decreased for the sixth consecutive month in November, figures from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Monday.

Industrial profits fell 1.4 percent year-over-year in November, but slower than the 4.6 percent decrease in the preceding month.

In the January to November period, total industrial profits dipped 1.9 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.

Among sectors, profits earned by mining industry tumbled 56.5 percent annually in the January to November period, while manufacturing sector registered an increase of 3.4 percent.
