Blake Shelton has been nominated for a Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Male Vocalist. He will also host the event.
"The nominees are out now and I can't wait to see who wins," Shelton says. "We've got categories for everybody - TV, movies, video games, actors, singers, everything you can think of. It's all in there. Make sure you get out there and vote, and we'll see you at the show."
Shelton said that he is even looking forward to getting covered in slime.
"My agent called and was like, 'Is there anything you can think of that you want to do?'" he tells the Today show, "And I was thinking, 'I want to host those Kids' Choice Awards. I want to do this thing with kids, it's fun. I want to get slimed.'"
The 2016 Kids' Choice Awards will air live on March 12 on Nickelodeon.
