Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have offered up their cover of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn's classic track "After the Fire is Gone." The cover took place as part of the upcoming Lynn documentary, and Garth spoke about the cover during a recent interview with The Boot.
"When these two voices hit, it creates this dimension that you can't get singular, one without the other," Brooks explains, with Yearwood adding, "And that's why I've always enjoyed singing with Garth . . . There's this energy there that's created together."
The film is called Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl.
She spoke on the doc saying, "I think I've done quite a bit. I'm probably one of the girl singers who have helped other girl singers get in the business, because it is harder for girls to get on labels and be out there."
