KISS performed a cover of the Eagles classic "Take It Easy" before their arena football team, the L.A. Kiss took on the Jacksonville Sharks at Los Angeles' Honda Center on Saturday.
Paul Stanley called the recently deceased Glenn Frey, who co-wrote the song with Jackson Browne, a "brilliant songwriter."
The L.A. Kiss went on to beat the Sharks 64-39 in front of a crowd of nearly 7,000.
"I am very appreciative of our players, they came out and played a really good football game," said Head Coach Omarr Smith. "For our first time going against a team in a different uniform, they stepped up, challenged them [the Sharks], and answered the bill."
Stanley and Gene Simmons brought the Kiss to L.A. in 2013.
