Beck announced two upcoming shows in the U.K. this summer - London's Brixton Academy on June 28 and Manchester's Albert Hall the next day.

The singer has previously announced U.K. dates set for Glastonbury (June 22-26), and the FOLD Festival in London (June 24-26).

Earlier this year, Beck's producer Greg Kurstin said that the his upcoming album - the follow-up to 2014's Morning Phase - was being finished up.

He also gave fans a hint of what the LP would sound like.

"We've been working on a lot of stuff that will be fun to play live," he began.

"It reminds me of some of the first stuff I heard from Beck when I first got into him, like Odelay and Midnite Vultures. It's really fun and beat-driven. There's all kinds of different things, and it's really fun."
