Republican Congressmen Blake Farenthold and Earl L. Carter have formally endorsed presumptive GOP Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump.
In a statement endorsing Trump for President of the United States, Carter said the American people are frustrated with Washington, and that the past eight years have been nothing short of a disaster. "The threats from radical Islamic terrorism are increasing every day, the health care system I worked in for more than thirty years has been destroyed by Obamacare, and America's job creators are constantly under attack."
"As we saw with her disastrous response to Benghazi and never-ending lies to the American people, Hillary Clinton is not fit to lead or protect Americans," according to him.
Earl Leroy "Buddy" Carter is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 1st congressional district.
Although originally a supporter of fellow Texan Senator Ted Cruz, Rep Farenthold said the time for contentious debate has passed and it is now time for the Republican Party to unify around its duly elected nominee.
Farenthold said he believes Donald Trump should not stop talking about the scandals that have plagued the campaign of presumptive Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton.
Representative from Texas, Farenthold took office in 2010, and was re-elected in 2012 and 2014.
