Bruce Springsteen's Next Album Won't Be Like Nebraska

Bruce Springsteen is working on a new solo album. This will not only be a departure from most of Springsteen's output with the E Street Band, but also a departure from other solo albums. Springsteen claims, this album will be unlike his classic solo record, Nebraska, which was released in 1982.

The album is still in the works and will be released sometime next year. The new effort will consist of all new material composed after Wrecking Ball, which was released in 2012. There are reportedly some left over sessions from 2014's High Hopes that are being reworked for the new solo album.

Springsteen has been on an extensive tour, which will wrap up on September 14. The tour consisted of 75 concerts. Springsteen has also been putting the finishing touches on his long-awaited autobiography, Born To Run, which will be out later this month.
