Dave Grohl's Mother Interviews Dr Dre, Haim, Amy Winehouse's Mothers For Book

Dave Grohl's mother Virginia Hanlon Grohl has interviewed a number of musicians' mothers for her new book From Cradle To Stage: Stories From The Mothers Who Rocked And Raised Rock Stars, which details what life raising a rock star is like.

She interviewed Dr. Dre's mother Virginia Griffin, Amy Winehouse's mother Janis Winehouse, and the mother of the Haim sisters, Donna Haim, for the new book, which will be published in April 2017 in the U.S. by Seal Press. Other mothers interviewed include Marianne Stipe, mother of former R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe; Hester Diamond (Beastie Boys' Mike D) and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine's mother Patsy Noah.

From Cradle To Stage: Stories From The Mothers Who Rocked And Raised Rock Stars features a foreword by Dave Grohl, as well as exclusive childhood photos of the Foo Fighters' singer.
