S. Korea Jobless Rate Drops In October

South Korea's unemployment rate declined in October, figures from Statistics Korea showed Wednesday.

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate fell to 3.7 percent in October from 4.0 percent in the previous month.

In the corresponding month last year, the unemployment rate was 3.4 percent.

On an unadjusted basis, the jobless rate dropped to 3.4 percent in October from a month ago.
