The finale of Dancing With the Stars began with big news. Country star Jana Kramer was eliminated on the first night.
Kramer and her dance partner Gleb Savchenko were cut on the season 23 finale. The couple played fourth in the competition. The contenders they were up against were, James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, and Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy.
After Kramer's and Savchenko's elimination was revealed, Kramer said "This has been amazing. Those people up there [the final three teams] so deserve to be there . . . It was our time." Kramer also had kind words to say about her dance partner Savchenko. The country singer said, "He's been the most incredible partner," the singer gushed, "and I've just learned so much about myself."
