Pearl Jam Poster Depicts Dead President Trump

A Pearl Jam poster depicting President Donald Trump's rotting corpse and the White House on fire has triggered controversy.

The gig poster, designed by Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and artist Bobby Brown for the band's show in Missoula, also shows Democratic party's Montana congressional candidate Jon Tester and his GOP rival Matt Rosendale.

It has clear political overtone as the poster was circulated to promote the show at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium, which was also a fundraiser for the re-election campaign of Senator Jon Tester.

Pearl Jam shared a photo of the poster on Instagram.

Rosendale, who is challenging the senator, condemned it as a "blatant display of extremism."

"It's time for @JonTester to denounce this act of violence and blatant display of extremism", he tweeted.
