On September 28, two years after reissuing all of his studio albums in deluxe album packages, Phil Collins will release a four-disc collaborative box set titled Plays Well With Others. The English drummer, singer, and record producer recently discussed the upcoming box set in an interview with Rolling Stone. Most of the songs are sequenced in chronological order. The box set starts with the 67 year-old musician's first pop band Flaming Youth.
In the interview, he also discussed his ongoing world tour, his health and the possibility of recording his first album of original songs since 2002's Testify.
"I took my time in coming back," Collins said about his Not Dead Yet tour. "I just didn't know if there was an audience anymore," the former Genesis drummer told the magazine.
