Beyoncé shared a heartfelt "Thank You" note to her fans in response to the outpouring of love she received on her 37th birthday.
The fifth-most-followed user on Instagram, Beyoncé shared photos on social media of celebrating her birthday in Italy with husband Jay-Z. Snaps feature the singer yachting in waters off Sardinia, and cutting a birthday cake with strawberries and chocolate on top.
Beyoncé posted a detailed and candid caption, divulging intimate details about her family life, thanking god for her blessings, and sharing some hopes for the future.
"At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we've been touring with our family around the world, and loving it," the singer says.
"This year has been monumental for me," according to Beyoncé. "I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future. I love you, Hive. B," she added.
