European discount airline Primera Air has ceased all operations from Tuesday, October 2, and is filing for bankruptcy protection.
"On behalf of Primera Air team, we would like to thank you for your loyalty. On this sad day we are saying Goodbye to all of you," Primera Air said on its website.
The airline also advised passengers to visit its website for further updates in the next few days.
In an email sent to the airline's employees, Primera's director of flight operations informed that both Primera Air Nordic and Primera Air Scandinavia will file for bankruptcy on Tuesday.
