Tena Clark shared a new mix of Aretha Franklin's "Silent Night" earlier this week, a solo piano version of the popular Christmas carol. Rhino Records announced on Tuesday that they will issue her 2008 nine-track holiday album This Christmas on vinyl on November 16.
"Her beautiful spirit is radiant throughout the record and this new mix of 'Silent Night' showcases what an incomparable force she truly was, both on vocals and piano," Clark, who produced the album, said in a statement.
"There has and never will be a voice like the Queen of Soul," according to her.
She recalled that she was thrilled when Aretha called her to produce her long awaited Christmas record. "It had been a dream of hers for decades".
The iconic singer, who has long been suffering from cancer, died in August.
