After a long absence of 3 years, Bob Dylan made an appearance on late-night television on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to promote his newly released brand of whiskey.

In a short sketch, the duo is filmed watching a private circus show by the Big Apple Circus and sipping Dylan's brand of whiskey. At the end of the performance, Fallon gives the crew a standing ovation but soon realizes that Dylan is no longer with him. "There's nobody there, there was never anybody there," says the ringmaster to him, at which a bedazzled Fallon remarks "What was in that whiskey?"

"We both wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that, in their own way, tell a story," Dylan said about the brand, dubbed "Heaven's Door Whiskey." "I've been travelling for decades, and I've been able to try some of the best spirits that the world of whiskey has to offer. This is great whiskey."
