South Korea Industrial Output Jumps 1.0% In October

Industrial production in South Korea climbed a seasonally adjusted 1.0 percent on month in October, Statistics Korea said on Friday - following the 2.7 percent decline in September.

On a yearly basis, industrial production surged 10.7 percent after tumbling 8.4 percent in the previous month.

The Index of all industry production in October increased by 0.4 percent on month and 6.7 percent on year.

The Manufacturing Production Index added 0.8 percent on month and 11.1 percent on year. The Manufacturing Shipment Index eased 0.1 percent on month but jumped 11.0 percent on year. The Manufacturing Inventory Index gained 0.6 percent on month and 2.6 percent on year.
