The Hong Kong stock market has finished higher in four consecutive trading days, gathering more than 740 points or 2.6 percent along the way. The Hang Seng Index now rests just beneath the 28,960-point plateau and it's looking at a higher open again on Tuesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets suggests a higher open on optimism over global trade, although a drop in crude oil prices may limit the upside. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are tipped to follow suit.
