How American Parents Are Financially Prepared To Have Children

A new survey is showing that nearly half of the parents admit they are not financially prepared to have a child, indicating that parenting has become a financial burden amid the rapidly increasing cost of living.

According to the first annual Policygenius Parents & Money survey, 42 percent of parents said they were not financially prepared for the expenses that come with raising a child. Policygenius is a New York-based online insurance marketplace.
