Country music superstar Jason Aldean has collected his 21st No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart with the help of "Rearview Town."
"Rearview Town" rose from 3rd to the top spot on the Country Airplay chart dated August 31, as it earned 39.9 million audience impressions in the week ending August 25, up 8%.
"Rearview Town," the title track from his latest LP, is the fourth No. 1 song from the album. Previously, "You Make It Easy," "Drowns the Whiskey" featuring Miranda Lambert, and "Girl Like You" topped the chart.
"Rearview Town" was penned by Kelley Lovelace, Bobby Pinson and Neil Thrasher.
With 21 Country Airplay No. 1s, Aldean is now tied with Keith Urban for 6th place among all artists for the most leaders on the chart. Kenny Chesney leads with 30, followed by Tim McGraw at 29. Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton and George Strait have 26 each.
Rearview Town, Aldean's eighth studio album, is the country star's fourth straight album to top both the Country Albums chart and the all-genre Billboard 200. The album has been certified gold since its release in April 2018.
"It's always been important to put out music that says something to me," Aldean told Billboard. "So, to have four No. 1s off this record is really, really cool, especially eight albums in."
Aldean is currently on the road for his 2019 Ride All Night Tour. He is also set for a mini-residency in Las Vegas, at the Park Theater at Park MGM in December. The three-night run is set for December 6 to 8.
