Chance the Rapper teamed up with Smino to perform "Eternal," a song from his debut LP, The Big Day, on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday.
Chance, wearing a tuxedo, sang and rapped on an elevated stage with a pair of backup vocalists, and was joined midway through the song by Smino.
The show had a surprise towards the end, with host Ellen DeGeneres making a cameo.
Chance is set to embark on a North American tour in 2020 to promote The Big Day, which was released in July.
Previously, Chance had released three mixtapes, 10 Day (2012), Acid Rap (2013) and Coloring Book (2016). The last one won him a Grammy.
