Rage Against the Machine have seen a strong increase in streaming of their songs after announcing plans to reunite.
Billboard reports that the rock band's on-demand streams for its catalog recorded a 48% increase to 8.6 million. Additionally, the quartet earned 7,000 album units, up 69%, 2,000 of which were via album sales, as well as 3,000 song downloads.
Rage Against The Machine have announced reunion plans for a series of dates for 2020. The iconic band, who haven't played together since 2011, have announced plans to play in Indio, California, on the two weekends of Coachella 2020.
The group released four albums from 1992 to 2000. They then disbanded before reuniting for Coachella in 2007. Rage's final show from their initial reunion run took place on July 30, 2011 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
