Ariana Grande's Sweetener World Tour has set a new record, as it collected more than double the amount of her Dangerous Woman Tour, which she conducted three years ago.
While the nine-month Dangerous Woman tour grossed $71.1 million from 75 reported shows in 2017, the Sweetener World Tour grossed $146.4 million from 1.3 million tickets sold last year, Billboard reported, based on Billboard Boxscore data.
Grande covered Europe and North America for her Sweetener World Tour during March 18 - December 22.
73 percent of the income was from 68 shows played in the U.S. and Canada, which amounts to $106.9 million. The 29 European dates collected $39.5 million.
The collection ratio for the Dangerous Woman Tour also was in similar lines, with the North American leg grossing $33.2 million and the European leg grossing $10.8 million.
