For the first time since 1993, New Order have claimed a spot on a Billboard airplay chart with their latest single, "Be A Rebel."
"Be a Rebel" debuted at No. 38 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart dated October 3, reflecting New Order's first appearance on the chart launched in 1996.
New Order last had a song on a Billboard airplay chart in October 1993, when "World (The Price of Love)" spent its final week on the Alternative Airplay chart.
Billboard noted New Order had six entries on the Alternative Airplay chart, including "Regret," which spent six weeks as No. 1 in 1993.
"Be a Rebel," the band's first new song since 2015's Music Complete, was initially meant to be released ahead of their since-postponed fall tour with Pet Shop Boys.
