Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat and more are included in Forbes' 30 Under 30 music class of 2021 released by the magazine on Tuesday (December 1).
The tenth annual 30 Under 30 list from the magazine also includes Lil Baby, Gabby Barrett, Saweetie, Ingrid Andress and Bea Miller, among others.
Ricch, who won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for "Racks In The Middle," says he got richer by $20 million this year.
"I've made more this year than I have ever made in my life—at home," he told Forbes. "But you can never get too comfortable. I got a million things to do."
Ricch's debut album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial topped the Billboard 200 chart, while "The Box," which dominated TikTok, spent 18 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
Ricch has reportedly invested heavily in his hometown of Compton, California. He is also said to be making plans to teach financial literacy through a soon-to-launch foundation.
Doja Cat has made it to the list thanks to the overwhelming success of her "Say So," which recorded 18 million video uses.
Taylor Swift, who is one of the list's alums, was on the judges panel. Warner Music Group creative officer Mike Caren, Jill Scott and songwriter/producer Nija Charles were the others on the panel.
"I'm truly amazed by the talent of this next generation," Scott says. "Their tenacity and audacious innovation is inspiring."
