Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon III: The Chosen debuted atop Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart dated December 26.
The album, which was released on December 11, earned 144,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 17, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
This marks the rapper's third chart topper. His other No. 1s are Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, released in 2010, and Indicud, which came out in 2013.
Three other Kid Cudi albums also found a place among the top five, including Man on the Moon: The End of Day and Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin, both of which reached No. 5, and Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, which climbed to No. 2.
Kids See Ghosts, Kid Cudi's collaboration with Kanye West, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2018.
