Sturgill Simpson gave an acoustic performance of "Life of Sin" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday, January 4. Simpson performed the song, accompanied by his band.
Simpson, who tested positive for Covid-19, released two albums during the latter part of 2019. His Cuttin' Grass, Vol. 1: The Butcher Shoppe Sessions peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. The follow-up record Cuttin' Grass, Vol. 2: The Cowboy Arms Sessions rose to No. 27 on the chart.
Simpson's Sound & Fury has received a nomination in the Best Rock Album category for the upcoming 63rd Grammys, scheduled to be held on March 14.
