Billie Eilish is reportedly in talks to executive produce the upcoming Peggy Lee biopic, Fever.
According to Billboard, Eilish, her mother Maggie Baird and Darkroom founder/CEO Justin Lubliner are in preliminary discussions to executive produce the Lee biopic, which is to be directed by Todd Haynes. Michelle Williams is set to portray Lee in the movie.
Although Eilish has previously directed and produced some of her music videos, the Lee biopic will be her first executive producer credit for a major film, if she gets to take up that role.
Eilish took part in an online panel celebrating the life and career of the late Peggy Lee last year, which marked the centennial of the singer's birth.
Lee, who passed away in 2002 at the age of 81, was the first female artist to be nominated for Record of the Year at the first-ever Grammys ceremony in May 1959. She went on to win a Grammy for Best Contemporary Vocal Performance in 1969.
