Halsey displayed her baby bump and opened up about her pregnancy on Instagram last week.
She opened the lengthy post by saying, "February is the shortest month, but the days seem like they are taking very long. Butttttt also going so fast?!"
"I've been thinking lots about my body. It's strange to watch yourself change so quickly," she added.
Halsey, whose original name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, said she thought pregnancy would give her very strong, binary feelings about "womanhood" but has instead leveled her perception of gender entirely.
"My sensitivity to my body has made me hyper aware of my humanness and that's all. Doing a remarkable thing. And it's grand. I hope the feeling lasts," added the 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and activist.
Halsey said she "cooks a lot, sleep even more, and read lots of books" while expecting her and boyfriend Alev Aydin's first child.
