Bebe Rexha premiered a new song, "Sacrifice," accompanied by a seductive video last Friday (March 5) on YouTube Originals' latest episode of "RELEASED."
Rexha, who describes the visual as "cinematic, effortless grunge, sex," says it is inspired by her life. The visual, which references 90s films such as Blade and the Matrix franchise, features Rexha and a slew of vampire women.
"Sacrifice / When it comes to me, don't want no compromise / This should be the only body on your mind / When it comes to me, I'm down for life / So tell me, would you sacrifice," she sings in the chorus.
"Sacrifice" is the follow-up to the singer's collaboration with Doja Cat, "Baby, I'm Jealous," which was released in October 2020.
Before premiering the song and the visual, Rexha performed "In the Name of Love" and "Meant to Be" in an opera-style during the "RELEASED" episode.
She also transformed some text messages into songs and shared some information about her upcoming album, which will have "honesty and vulnerability" as the theme and will also see her "speaking on insecurities."
