The Strokes took home their first Grammy on Sunday, March 14 after their 2020 album The New Abnormal won the award for Best Rock Album.
The album bested fellow nominees Sturgill Simpson's Sound and Fury, Fontaines D.C.'s A Hero's Death, Michael Kiwanuka's Kiwanuka, and Grace Potter's Daylight.
The New Abnormal was The Strokes' first studio album in about seven years, a follow-up to 2013's Comedown Machine.
The nine-track LP earned the band their first No. 1 debut on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart and also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart.
