During the "Kellyoke" segment of the episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on Thursday (March 18), Kelly Clarkson covered Trisha Yearwood's '90s classic "Walkaway Joe."
Clarkson performed the song, responding to a request from Matthew McConaughey, who played the original "Walkaway Joe" in the official music video.
McConaughey, who was in the virtual audience that night, revealed that his cameo in the video was his "first time in front of the camera." He got his big break in 1993, playing David Wooderson in Dazed and Confused.
"Walkaway Joe," featuring Don Henley of the Eagles, peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in 1993.
