Country superstar Brad Paisley was "beyond thrilled" after hearing Post Malone's cover of "I'm Gonna Miss Her."
Posty covered Paisley's smash hit "I'm Going To Miss Her" during his performance on Matthew McConaughey's We're Texas virtual benefit concert. The "Circles" singer also covered Sturgill Simpson's "You Can Have the Crown".
In a recent interview with CMT's Cody Alan, Paisley said, "I was just beyond thrilled. First of all, have you heard him sound like that before? I mean, I knew he could, though. He is that good. You know that if he wanted to do what we do, he would be better at it, and he is. He showed that. It's not fair!"
"You know, if I wanted to do his thing," he continued. "First of all, I wouldn't even get through one tattoo before I was crying, but second of all, musically, everybody would be like, 'Stop it!' I do his song, and everybody says, 'Stop. Don't do that. You are ruining it.' He does mine, and everybody says, 'Oh, he should do all of yours.'"
