Portugal. The Man has released a performance video of "Lay Me Back Down," which will feature on the band's upcoming Oregon City Sessions live album.
"Lay Me Back Down" is the second video that the band has shared from the forthcoming live album following the release of "The Devil." "Lay Me Back Down" is a track off band's 2008 album Censored Colors. The track was one of 15 songs performed during Oregon City Sessions.
"It was such an important song for us," frontman John Gourley says of "Lay Me Back Down." "We had finished our deal with Fearless Records and recorded this all on our own. It represents the freedom we created by doing it ourselves."
Oregon City Sessions, which features a 2008 in-studio performance by the band, is set to be released on June 11.
Portugal. the Man's most recent album was 2017's Woodstock.
