Kelly Clarkson covered The Chicks' "Gaslighter" during the Tuesday, April 13, "Kellyoke" segment on her talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show."
Clarkson, accompanied by her band Y'all on a red and orange-lit stage, performed a rousing cover of the title track from The Chicks' eighth studio album.
"Gaslighter, denier/ Doin' anything to get your ass farther/ Gaslighter, big timer/ Repeating all of the mistakes of your father," she sings.
"Gaslighter" was written and produced by the group and Jack Antonoff. The song was the final release by the group before changing their name to "The Chicks" from "Dixie Chicks" in June 2020.
