Morgan Wallen teamed up with fellow country stars Eric Church and Hardy for an acoustic jam session of his song "Sand in My Boots."
Wallen posted a video on his IGTV on Wednesday, June 23, in which the trio of country superstars perform Wallen's "Sand In My Boots" from an unknown location. Darius Rucker also appears in the clip, but he does not join in.
In April, the controversial country star had announced that he won't tour or perform live this summer and will use the rest of the year to continue to work on himself.
The singer made the decision after he got himself embroiled in a controversy when he was caught on camera shouting expletives and using the "N-word." He later issued an apology.
Wallen was later suspended by his label, Big Loud Records, and removed from iHeartMedia and Entercom radio stations as well as CMT . He was also banned from several award shows ,including the Billboard Music Awards, ACM Awards and CMA awards.
In midst of the controversy, Wallen's second album Dangerous: The Double Album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in January, spent an unprecedented 10 straight weeks atop the chart.
Earlier this month, Wallen had made a surprise appearance at a charity event in Georgia, which was his second public appearance after his "N-word" controversy. Last month, Wallen performed at Kid Rock's Nashville bar.
