AutoNation Authorizes Up To An Addl. $1 Bln Share Buyback - Quick Facts

While reporting financial results for the second quarter on Monday, automotive retailer AutoNation, Inc. (AN) announced that the Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of up to an additional $1 billion of AutoNation common stock.

As of July 15, 2021, AutoNation had approximately 71.6 million shares outstanding.

Apple has updated its Apple Maps with the release of iOS 15 to now provide new ways to explore major cities through a new 3D view. Maps users on the new iOS in London, Los Angeles, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area can experience a three-dimensional city view of these major cities. SoCalGas, which operates the storage facility, will record an after-tax charge of approximately $1.1 billion this month.
