Tom DeLonge has provided a positive update on his former Blink-182 bandmate Mark Hoppus' battle with cancer.

Captioning a picture of him and Hoppus working on Blink-182's 1995 debut album, Cheshire Cat, on Instagram, DeLonge said Hoppus' cancer is "disappearing."

"Mark is doing well! Cancer is disappearing! But, he still has more chemo to do. As tough as it is, IT IS working! Mark is a real life superhero," the former Blink frontman wrote on July 29.

Hoppus had revealed in June that he has been battling cancer for the past three months. He later revealed that he is suffering from Stage 4-A Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

The Blink-182 singer/bassist has been regularly giving updates on the treatment since then.

The 49-year-old rock star lost his hair as a side effect of his chemotherapy treatment. He shared a photo of himself with a newly bald head on social media last month.
