Ingrid Andress has teamed up with Sam Hunt on the brand-new single, "Wishful Drinking."
"I've always wanted to work with Sam and have been such a fan of his for a long time," Andress shared in a release.
"I admire how he stays so true to himself and am so happy to have him join me for my first collaboration," the singer continued. "The song was co-written by my friend JP Saxe, and it became this amazing sad bop, which we all know I love."
In addition to being Andress' first single since "Lady Like," the song also marks Hunt's follow-up to his 2020 record, Southside.
The single was accompanied by an official music video, which features the pair at the Flamingo Cocktail Club in Nashville, as they first notice each other across the dimly-lit joint, then gravitate towards one another as the song plays on.
