At 2.00 am ET Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics releases UK unemployment data. The jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 4.8 percent in three months to June.
Ahead of the data, the pound held steady against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 151.16 against the yen, 1.3826 against the greenback, 0.8513 against the euro and 1.2627 against the franc as of 1:55 am ET.
