Anglo Pacific Group Posts HY Profit; CEO Julian Treger To Step Down

Anglo Pacific Group PLC (APF.L, APY.TO) reported that its profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended 30 June 2021 was $7.26 million or 3.82 cents per share compared to a loss of $14.16 million or 7.84 cents per share in the prior year.

Royalty and stream related revenue was $22.22 million compared to $22.40 million in the prior year.

The company said it is confident that the second half will see a significantly higher outturn than that of the first six months of the year.

In a separate press release, Anglo Pacific Group said that Julian Treger will step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer in due course after eight years in the role. Treger will remain as CEO, leading the team and the Group's strategic objectives as normal until 31 March 2022.

The company said it has commenced a comprehensive search process to choose a new CEO and will update the market on progress in due course.
