HgCapital Trust PLC (HGT.L) reported that its net return after taxation for the six months ended 30 June 2021 climbed to 286.22 million pounds or 67.56 pence per share from 66.90 million pounds or 16.41 pence per share in the prior year.
Gains on investments and liquidity funds were 272.29 million pounds compared to 55.56 million pound last year.
The NAV per share has increased from 3.10 pounds to 3.74 pounds, an increase of 21.4% on a total return basis. The share price improved from 3.05 pounds to 3.55 pounds, a total return of 17.4%.
HGT said it plans to be able to deliver a total dividend of at least 5.0 pence per share, with an interim dividend of 2..0 pence per share, payable in October.
