Rapper Doja Cat covers "You're the One That I Want," the classic track from the 1978 movie Grease, for Pepsi's latest commercial.
The beverage giant's latest commercial takes viewers back to Rydell High School and Frosty Palace, as Doja dances her way into a soda shop. The 90-second ad, which launches Pepsi's Cream Soda and Black Cherry, debuted on Sunday, September 12 during the MTV Video Music Awards, which Doja Cat hosted.
The ad is similar to the original movie scene, in which Olivia Newton-John, playing Sandy Olsson, tries to impress Danny Zuko, played by John Travolta.
However, there is small change to the lyrics, as instead of singing "I need a man," Dojo Cat sings, "I need a plan."
"You're the One that I Want" was originally performed by Newton-John and Travolta in the 1978 film based on the 1972 Broadway musical.
