Country singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde was forced to postpone a show scheduled to be held on Thursday at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in Spokane, Washington, after suffering injuries from a horseback riding accident.
The postponement and the news of the accident were revealed by McBryde's team on Instagram on Wednesday.
"Earlier today, Ashley was enjoying her time in the beautiful state of Montana and had an accident while riding a horse," the post said. "After a trip to the hospital and a few stitches (and some very sore bones), she is recovering and doing her best to ensure she can play again as soon as possible."
The post also expressed gratitude to the EMTs and staff at the Missoula, Montana, hospital who helped McBryde.
Concert promoters at Live Nation said all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date once it is announced.
