Shares of electric vehicle maker Lucid Group, Inc. (LCID) are down more than 14% in pre-market on Monday. This follows an 8-K filing dated December 3, in which company said it received a subpoena from the Securities and Exchange Commission requesting it to produce certain documents related to an investigation.
The investigation appears to concern the business combination between the company and special purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp. IV, through which Lucid became public, and Atieva, Inc. and certain projections and statements, Lucid said in the filing.
