Cubic Granted Potential $468 Mln. Contract To Supply Mission Support To Army JRTC - Quick Facts

Cubic Corp. (CUB) on Tuesday revealed the receipt of a competitive contract with a ceiling value of $468 million to provide realistic pre-deployment training to U.S. troops as a support contractor for the U.S. Army's Joint Readiness Training Center or JRTC at Fort Polk, Louisiana. The company noted that the new contract is for one base year, followed by nine renewable option years, and is scheduled to begin in July 2007.

The company noted that the current contract with JRTC, awarded in 2001, is valued at close to $375 million, with the new contract increased to support levels in the areas of Role Play, Battlefield Effects, Tactical Engagement Systems Support and the Exercise Support Group, which provides support to rotational training units in the areas of transportation, sustainment supplies, live fire support and air-delivered resupply.
