Carrie Underwood and John Legend performed their 2020 Christmas song "Hallelujah" on the Season 21 finale of "The Voice" on December 14. The duet first came out on Underwood's 2020 Christmas album My Gift.
Legend, who is one of the coaches on the show, took over the piano while Underwood dominated the vocals with her powerful pitch.
My Gift featured "O Come, All Ye Faithful," "O Holy Night" and "The Little Drummer Boy," where Underwood's oldest son Isiah also took part.
Legend also shared an Instagram post of him talking to Underwood about the song and how much effort has gone into making it.
"It became a really magical duet together, I was so honored to be on your album," he said. "The Christmas album is beautiful, it's called My Gift and it's gorgeous."
