Spoon have announced plans to embark on a tour of the U.S. in support of their upcoming album, Lucifer on the Sofa.

After a one-off concert on February 8 at Santa Ana Observatory in California, the tour will officially kick off on April 6 at House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts, and wrap up on June 4 at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona.

Brooklyn-based rock band Geese and singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy are set to provide support on certain dates.

Lucifer on the Sofa is the tenth studio album by Spoon and due for release on February 11, 2022, through Matador Records.

"It's the sound of classic rock as written by a guy who never did get Eric Clapton," Spoon frontman Britt Daniel said of the new LP in a press release.

It's the group's 10th studio effort and the first to be recorded in their hometown of Austin in more than a decade.
