Demi Lovato recently shared their autobiographical new single, "Skin of My Teeth," from their upcoming album Holy Fvck. The singer also released an accompanying music video.
Lovato opens up about their struggle with addiction and rehabilitation in the opening lines, singing, "Demi leaves rehab again/ When is this shit gonna end?"
The Grammy-nominated singer experienced a near-fatal opioid overdose in July 2018 and has entered rehabilitation multiple times.
Holy Fvck, Lovato's eighth studio album, is scheduled for release on August 19.
Speaking about the process of making this album, Lovato said, it has been "the most fulfilling yet." They thanked their fans and collaborators for "being on this journey with me."
"Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself. To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you. This record is for you," Lovato added in a statement.
