Carrie Underwood recently released her live cover of "Mama, I'm Coming Home," the classic power ballad from Ozzy Osbourne, for her new Apple Music Sessions EP.
The multiple Grammy award winning singer recorded a performance of the song for exclusive release on streaming services.
"I have always been an Ozzy Osbourne fan, and 'Mama, I'm Coming Home' is one of my all-time favorite songs," Underwood said in a press release. "I've always thought it felt a lot like a country song, and I've wanted to cover it for a long time."
"This was a really fun opportunity for me to be able to finally make that happen. I hope we've done Ozzy proud, and I hope he likes it," she added.
The sessions were recorded in Spatial Audio at Apple Music's new studio in Nashville.
This is not the first time the country superstar has displayed her love for rock music. During the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in April, she performed Guns N' Roses hits "Paradise City" and "Sweet Child O' Mine."
